Joseph E. Morris, 63 of Claysville died Thursday March 16, 2017 in his home surrounded by his family and friends after battling a year long illness.

Joseph was born in Greene County the son of the late Herbert L. and Margaret V. Shedkiac Morris.

Joe married his wife Bonnie on November 10, 1979.

He worked for Penn Dot as a truck driver for 34 ½ years. After retiring in 2014 he enjoyed mowing, traveling, sports, riding his motorcycle and driving his VW Beetle.

In addition to his wife Bonnie, he is also survived by brothers Lindsay “Sonny” Morris (Joyce), Herbert Morris (Jean), Nieces Barbara Morris, Heather and Jennifer Reaser, Nephew Douglas Morris, Brother in laws Dale Reaser (April), and Jack Reaser. Two great nieces Abby and Ashley Morris and his special father in law James Reaser.

Friends will be received Monday March 20, 2017 at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 219 Main Street Claysville Pa 15323, 724-663-7373, www.youngfhinc.com. from 3 pm until 7 pm, time of funeral service.

Burial will be private in West Finley Cemetery.
