Joseph Uzlik

Joseph Uzlik (Joe) 69, of Claysville, PA, passed away June 13, 2017 at his home. He was born September 27, 1947 in McDonald, PA to Joseph and Flora Uzlik. He is a retired coal miner of the Consol Mining Company (Bailey Mine). He loved hunting, rock music, his mustang, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his sister Karen (Don) Cruley of Haines City, FL, 6 children and 9 grandchildren. Marlene (Clay) Smith-Brittany, Sierra, & Tanner of New Carlisle, OH; Nora McKnight-Bryce of Knoxville TN; Joe (Kelly) Uzlik-Trina & Kayla, of Springfield, OH; Mark Uzlik of New Kensington, PA; Scott (Katie) Uzlik-Ethan & Ella of Lower Burrell, PA; Shawn (Ashley) Uzlik-Carter & Addei of Wheeling, WV. He is also survived by 4 stepchildren: Dale Thomas; Rachel Phillips; Kim Williamson; Mike Hazen and several step grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and one stepson William Hazen.

There will be a celebration of his life Saturday June 17th starting at 2:00pm at his residence. All family and friends are welcome.
