Cecilia Garritano

Cecilia Garritano, 91, passed away on Sunday April 21, 2019 at her home in Slovan, PA surrounded by her loving family.   She was born on November 20, 1927 in Slovan, PA.  Cecilia was the daughter of Anthony & Mary (Pauchnik) Dvorsak.

Mrs. Garritano attended Union High School.  She retired from Woodville State Hospital as a Psychiatric Aide in 1985.

Cecilia belonged to Catholic Daughters, Christian Mothers and Our Lady of Lourdes Choir.  She loved planting flowers and taking care of her lawn.

She is survived by her children Joanne (Carl) Lombardo, Patricia (Ted) Wright & Joseph Garritano. Daughters in law Bonnie Garritano & Debbie Noble.  Grandchildren- Jennifer (Chuck) Laush, Teddy (Jenny Lee) Wright, Brandon (Mindy) Wright, Kara (Shawn) Carl, Robbie Garritano & Nicole (Greg) Sechler. Great-grandchildren- Tyler & Christian Wright, Jillian Lombardo & Kody Sechler.  Siblings- Theresa Rozmus, Frances Crystal & Robert Dvorsak.

Mrs. Garritano is preceded in death by her husband Romeo Garritano of 71 years and her son Robert Garritano. Siblings- Anthony, John & Jim Dvorsak, Mary McCombs & Betty Polen.

Family and Friends will be received on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, www.youngfhinc.com 23 Erie Mine Road in Burgettstown, PA 15021.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Burial to follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
