David James Greene

David James Greene 31 of Taylorstown succumbed and lost his battle with addiction Sunday December 31, 2017, in his home.

David was born August 25, 1986 the son of Kathleen (Dan) Weiss and James Greene.

He was a graduate of McGuffey High School, and worked as a landscaper for Dan Weiss Landscaping. 

David was a free spirited person who enjoyed, Being outdoors and loved being around his family and friends where he could brighten any room with his jokes and his smile. David had a heart of gold and he would help others before he could help himself.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his siblings Misty (Randy) Tarr, Kelly (Josh) Dunkle, Daniel (Kate) Weiss, Jeffrey (Megan) Weiss, Joey Greene, Mindy Greene, His grandfather David Hubley, many nieces, nephews, and his companion best friend Brooke Lowrey.

David is preceded in death by his grandmothers Jacqueline Hubley and Helen Greene.

Funeral Service to be held 11 am Friday January 5, 2017 at Forest Lawn Gardens (Chapel) 3739 Washington Road McMurray Pa 15317. Anyone wishing to attend please meet at the Chapel.

The family of David Greene requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh, The Humane Society or Children’s Hospital.
