E. Thomas “Butch” Endler, 69 of Atlasburg, died Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in his home.
He was born December 14, 1948 in Washington, a son of Josephine Lazzara Endler of Avella and the late Ellwood Endler.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Endler was employed by Universal Cyclops of Bridgeville as a crane operator.
His hobbies included carpentry and landscaping work for himself and for others, in which he took a great amount of pride. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Penguin fan, and enjoyed spending time with friends at the casinos. He looked forward to spending summers at the camp in Erie and loved going on trips to Florida to see the ocean.
Mr. Endler was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War Era with a rank of SP 5th Class.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of 46 years, Christine Dudeck Endler, his son, Tim Endler, his brother, David Endler, his brother-in-law, Albert Dudeck, and his niece, Tawnya Matello.
Deceased is his bother-in-law, Joseph Dudeck.
To honor Mr. Endler’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Services will be held privately at the convenience of his family. Interment will be held in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Burgettstown. Arrangements are under the care of Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Taucher Chapel 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown.
