Evelyn E. Miller, 94, of Claysville, died Friday, June 22, 2018, in Premier Washington Health Center, Chartiers Township, following a lengthy illness.

She was born May 19, 1924, in Barnesville, Ohio, a daughter of Raymond F. and Lenora Carpenter Martin.

Mrs. Miller was affiliated with Fairmount United Methodist Church and Lighthouse Community Church. She was a homemaker who loved to do crafts of any kind and enjoyed camping at Raccoon State Park.

On June 22, 1945, she married Harold F. "Pete" Miller, who passed away November 13, 2006.

Surviving are a sister, Edith Jackson of California; two sons, Frank (Eleanor) Miller of Claysville, and R. Edward (Janie) Miller of West Alexander; grandchildren Brian (Dawn), Chad (Carla), Mark (Sherri), Mike (Cheryle) and Megan (Ryan Aloia) Miller, Jay McConn and Nikki (Chadwick) Miller; and great-grandchildren Preston, Emily, Chase, Cole, Caroline and Nora Miller, Christopher (Courtnee) Gault, Skyelar McConn and Keegan Hilborn.

Deceased is a granddaughter, Jessi (Benjamin) Hilborn.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 219 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323, 724-663-7373, www.youngfhinc.com, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 25. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
