Florence (Schilinski) Visnich

Florence Schilinski Visnich, 89, of Slovan, died Friday, April 20, 2018, in her home.

She was born December 22, 1928, in Slovan, a daughter of the late Thomas and Sophia McNatch Schilinski.

Mrs. Visnich was a 1946 graduate of Union High School in Burgettstown.

She was employed at Washington County Courthouse for 12 years and worked for Smith Township for 45 years, from where she retired in March 1998.

Mrs. Visnich was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Burgettstown.

On June 10, 1949, she married Theodore Visnich, who survives.

Also surviving are children Diana Lynn Haley of Slovan and Randal (Tracy) Visnich of Slovan; brother Thomas (Pat) Schilinski of Slovan; grandchildren Brian Haley, Michael (Bonita) Haley and Jessica (Anthony) Florian; great-grandchild Alexandra Haley; and many nieces and nephews.

To honor Mrs. Visnich's wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.
