Larry Miller Obituary

Larry "Bo" Miller, 70, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018.

He was born March 7, 1948, in Meador, W.Va., the youngest son of the late James Miller and Ima Mahon Miller.

On January 1, 1970, he married Wilma Linn Kern, who passed away December 6, 2014.

Surviving are his two daughters, Dawn Renee Miller Hamler, married to Bob Hamler Sr., and Lesley Linn Redman-Miller, married to Danielle Lanae Redman-Miller; three grandchildren, RJ, Madalinn and James Hamler; two brothers, Dallas Miller and James Miller Jr.; four sisters, Brenda Miller Kern, Judy Miller Perry, Mina Miller Applebaum and Pamela Miller Brooks; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members.

Deceased are a sister, Romaine Miller Ferrell, and two stepsisters.

Mr. Miller was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He served his country honorably from 1967 to 1969, earning the rank of sergeant (T). He was awarded the Bronze Star with "V" device for his heroism in connection with military operations against a hostile force in Vietnam.

Upon returning home to Meador from service, the very ?rst thing he did was drive nearly 300 miles to East Finley to meet for the first time, face-to-face, the young lady with whom he had been corresponding while in the war – his future bride and love of his life, Wilma. The two soon wed and started their lives together, loving each other, their daughters, beautiful grandkids and the life they shared for 44 years. Now, "Bo" is again with his soul mate – this time for eternity.
