Opal Brownlee of Claysville, died Thursday January 25, 2018 in her home, with her family by her side.
She was born in West Finley on March 7, 1918, a daughter of Roy and Bessie Whiteman.
On March 11, 1941 she married Kenneth B. Brownlee who died November 23, 1974
Opal was a member of the Claysville United Methodist church.
Surviving are a daughter Carol of Claysville, and a son Thomas and wife Sandy of Claysville, and many nieces and nephews she loved as her own.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband, a son Robert B. Brownlee, three brothers Raymond, Leslie, Homer “Jack” Whiteman, four sisters, Paulette, and Evelyn Whiteman, Romaine Cunningham, and Gladys Plants.
