Theresa Pecsko Donavich 87 of Langeloth died on October 26, 2018 at Townview Health and Rehabilitation.

Theresa was born September 7, 1931 in New Salem Pa. A daughter of the late Charles and Theresa Pecsko.

She was a graduate and member of the band as a majorette at Redstone High School.

On September 2, 1951, she married George Donavich who preceded her in death on June 1, 1972.

Theresa purchased a store from Peachie Petrucci in 1977 and operated Thresesa’s Cards & News until her retirement in 1994.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Marge Prizzi, and Robert Pecsko.

Theresa is survived by her daughters Virginia “Ginger” Strapazzon (Tony) of Langeloth, Debra Cauble (Michael) of Ashville NC.  

Grandchildren Anthony Strapazzon (Samantha) of Monaca, Angela Jones (Mike) of Pittsburgh, Ashley (Chris) Manley Easley SC. and Allyson (Dagan) Rainey of Easley SC.

Great Grandchildren Lucas, Leina Jones, Lydia, William and Emily Manley, and Landon Rainey

She was also a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church

At the request of Theresa there will be no visitation, and burial will be private at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

Thresesa is also survived by her sister Helen Chmura of Ohio, Brother Joe (Bernie) Pecsko of New Salem, John (Joann) of Uniontown Pa, many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Theresa was very active in the community, she was the founder and former president of Burgettstown Restoration Committee, and she was also past president of the Christian Mothers at St Peter and Paul Church in Cherry Valley Pa.
