Alice Lynn Glover

Alice Lynn Glover, 73, of Newtown, PA, formerly of Washington, PA, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023.

She was born on April 24, 1950, in Washington, PA, the daughter of the late Gerald J. and Florence Virginia Glover. In 1968, Alice graduated from McGuffey High School.

Alice enjoyed reading, needlepoint, and Bible study. She was a devout Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church in Washington, she also volunteered at the Washington Hospital for several years.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Alice is survived by brother Jerry (Barbara) Glover of Walkersville, MD, sister Emily (Butch) Elder of Matthews, NC, nephews Joel (Ruthanne) Glover of Mount Airy, MD, and Mark (Amanda) Elder of Houston, TX, niece Kristen (Rafael) Perez of Matthews, NC, and five great nephews Brian, Eric, Javier, Ethan, Conner.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, September 28, 2023, from 1 pm to 2 pm time of service, officiated by Pastor Steven Dunlap at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 219 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323.
