Betty L. Collett

Betty L. Collett, 92, of Cross Creek, PA, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

Betty was born on August 13, 1932, in Langeloth, PA, the youngest daughter of the late William and Teresa Houghton. She graduated from Union High School in Burgettstown, PA. 

She was a beloved and devoted wife and mother, always putting her family first.

She enjoyed gardening, canning, flowers, quilting, sewing, and playing the organ. She took great pleasure in a good walk, appreciating nature, a good book, and a cup of tea.

Betty was a long-time member of Cross Creek United Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her children David and Donna.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James Collett who passed away in 1991, sisters Genevieve and Charlotte, and a brother William. She was deeply loved and will be missed by many.

A private service is to be held with interment to follow at Cross Creek Cemetery.
