Carol A. Camp

Carol Ann Camp, 71, of Buffalo Twp. died Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Washington Hospital.

Born December 22, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Charles Robert and Ellen Longstreath White. 

Carol grew up in Pleasant Grove. She graduated from McGuffey High School in 1969. She married William Camp. They later divorced and she had a longtime friend Albert Chieffalo. 

Carol worked for 37 years at Breese’s Personal Care Home in Claysville. She then worked at Washington & Jefferson College cafeteria. She loved baking for others.

She devoted her life to caring for her daughter Karen Sue Camp of Buffalo. 

She also stayed in touch with her friend Al Chieffalo’s children Charles Chieffalo (Pamala), Albert Chieffalo (Kristin) all of Martins Ferry, OH, and Lynn Clemons of Wheeling, WV. She took great care of her daughter’s cats, Olivia and Bella.

She is survived by her daughter Karen, her brother Donald W. White (Margaret) of Claysville, sister Mary Jane Martin of Washington, and sisters-in-law Julie White of Washington and Judy White of Claysville. She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Jean Sprowls (Clayton), brothers Melvin Leroy White, Wray Gordon White, Delbert Dean White, John “Bill” White (Ruby), Paul White (Dorothy), and two half brothers Robert White (Effy) and Bill White (Doris).

There will be a graveside service at 11 am on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Claysville Cemetery 4522 State Route 40 Donegal Twp PA 15323. Family and friends are invited to fellowship afterward at Rolling Hills Chapel 214 Timber Lake Rd Claysville, PA 15323
