Catherine L. Durbin

Catherine Louise Durbin, 85, of West Alexander, PA, passed away at home with her family surrounding her after a long battle with cancer on August 24, 2024. 

She was born on December 11, 1938, in Greene County, PA, the daughter of the late Benjamin Robert and Ruth Marie Wiseman.

Catherine married Blaine E. Durbin on July 18, 1954, and again on January 12, 2006. 

She was a homemaker, she loved her family and pets. She enjoyed playing cards, board games, poker, shopping, and attending church. Catherine was a member of the Triadelphia United Methodist Church. 

Surviving are three sons and two daughters, Gerald E. Durbin of Wheeling, WV, Kimberly A. Rickus (Jason) of Wheeling, WV, Kandy L. Camps (Tommy) of Washington, PA, Brian K. Durbin of Washington, PA, and Chris M. Durbin (Shannon) of West Alexander, PA, as well as 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and one brother Charles Wiseman (Mary) of Washington, PA.

In addition to her parents, Catherine is preceded in death by her husband Blaine E. Durbin, a daughter Debra K. Durbin, a great-grandson Daniel Ray George, a sister, and two brothers.
