Charles M. Abriatis

Charles M. Abriatis (Chuck), 81, of Washington, PA,  passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, following a short illness, with his loving family at his side.

Chuck was born on April 1, 1942, in Castle Shannon, PA, the son of the late Charles and Francis Abriatis. He went to South Hills Catholic Academy, class of 1960. After graduating, he attended Point Park University. Chuck was a bookmaker for 30 years and worked for State Line Cafe in his later years.

Chuck also served in the United States Navy for four years.

On March 6, 1976, he married Jacqueline “Jackie” Abriatis, they spent 45 loving years together before her passing on August 19, 2021. 

Chuck was a member of the Claysville American Legion Post 639 and The Arms Club. He enjoyed golfing, spending time with his family and friends, and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and brother. 

He is survived by his two wonderful children, Michael Abriatis of Washington, PA, and Danielle (Joseph) Lucas of Claysville, PA, two grandchildren Lexi and Ava Lucas, a sister Nancy of Castle Shannon, PA, and a brother-in-law William of West Mifflin, PA.
