Dennis Ray Frye

Dennis "Denny" Ray Frye, 62, of Valley Grove, WV passed away June 5th, 2020 after a tough battle with cancer. He was born June 19th, 1957 to the late Robert "Okey" Frye and Olive Maxine Frye (Armstrong) at their home in West Alexander, PA. Denny began working at a young age in the family store, Frye's Stateline Grocery. He served in the Marine Corp from 1974-1977 as a radio operator. He was married to Donna Dunn for 16yrs and was the proud father of 2 children. Denny was a jack of all trades and retired after many years as a hard-working ironworker. 
Denny was preceded in death by his parents Robert "Okey" Frye and Maxine Frye, 3 brothers Roger Frye, Gary Frye, and Dave Frye. He is survived by 2 brothers Jim Frye and Dick Frye, his sister Cindy Frye, his son Tim Frye and daughter-in-law Tracy Frye, his daughter Tiffany McKnight (Frye), and granddaughters Leeiah McKnight, Stephanie Kelley, and Chelsey Kelley. 
Denny was a kind hearted, fun-loving friend to everyone he met. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, although he usually wasn't wearing one. He loved spending time with family and friends and making everyone laugh. Denny may have been the "Small Frye" but he had the biggest heart. He will be missed but never forgotten.
