Donna C. Stout

Donna C. Stout, 75, of West Alexander passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

She was born on March 30, 1946, in Washington and grew up in East Finley, daughter of the late Brady and Janet Logue. She has a twin brother, Don (Becky) Logue, sister, Mary Jo (Frank-deceased) Spina, and Robert Logue (deceased).  

Donna was a graduate of McGuffey High School in 1964 and was an active member of the West Alexander Fire Department for 43 years. She was one of the first female Interior Firefighters for Pennsylvania. Donna was an EMT/Paramedic with the Fire Department and worked at Ambulance and Chair for 18+ years, she also worked as an Emergency Dispatcher for Washington County. In 1998 she obtained her nursing degree from  West Virginia Northern Community College in Wheeling WV. She later worked as an Emergency Room Nurse at Washington Hospital for 13 years until she retired. Donna was an amazing person who lived her life in the service of others. 

On January 6, 1964, she married Ronald “Gus” Stout who survives. They were married for 57 years. She is survived by three children, Linda (Darrell) West, Tracy (Jeff) Butterfield, and J.O. (Valerie) Stout, proud grandmother of Brandon (Miranda) Harris, Levi West, Nate Stout, Mackenzie Stout, Maggie Butterfield, Sam Stout, and Jeremiah Butterfield, and great-grandmother of Madalynn, Braydon, and Conner Harris. 

Donna was an active member of West Alexander Presbyterian Church where she was a Deacon. 

She really enjoyed spending time with her family, especially supporting the grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s activities. She also enjoyed cruises, vacationing at the beach, and quilting. 

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021, from 10 am - 2 pm time of service at West Alexander Presbyterian Church 108 Main St, West Alexander, PA 15376. Burial to follow at West Alexander Cemetery 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the West Alexander Fire Department, 100 Main Street West Alexander, PA 15376.
