Eleanor (Sibert) Kennedy

Eleanor Sibert Kennedy, 90, of Claysville, PA, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023, with her loving family by her side.

She was born on January 28, 1933, the daughter of the late Mahlon and Irene Sibert. 

On May 3, 1951, she married Earl D. Kennedy. They spent 52 loving years together before his passing on November 30, 2003.

Eleanor is survived by her three children Quintina Jill, Thomas Earl Kennedy, and Samuel Jeff Kennedy, grandchildren Shawna (Mike), Tommy (Dior), Matt (Angie), Derek, Adam, Ashley, Marsha, and Michelle, and great-grandchildren Zackary, Jewels, Ethan, Tucker, Dirk, Andrew, Matthew, Kole, Wyatt, Kierstyn, Emma, Owen, Claire, Alexis, Addyson, Ariana, and Ashton.

Eleanor loved working in her flower beds and singing in the choir at church. Her most joyous days were spent enjoying her great-grandchildren. She was a retired nurse that she was so proud of being.

After many years of struggling with her health, she can reunite in heaven with her husband “Red”, and twin brother, Irvin Sibert.

Her final prayer for her family was for God to be with every one of us in whatever year we needed him. It didn’t matter if it was 1955 or right now. He knows the year and what we need, oh how we thank you and love you, Lord.

If you ever met Eleanor, she had a special line to say goodbye. “Thank you for what you do, and God Bless You!”
