Obituary
Elsie Florence (Patterson) Hucik 80 of Joffre, PA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 (In Weirton Hospital).
Elsie was born November 21, 1941, at home in Joffre, PA to the late Anthony and Agnes (Slak) Patterson.
Elsie loved to watch her grandsons play football and wrestle and her granddaughter's dance and cheer.
Elsie was an avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and loved listing to the Pirates on the Radio. Elsie also loved to listen to the polkas on the radio.
She was an active member of Saint Ann’s Catholic Church in Bulger, PA
Elsie married Michael R. Hucik on January 30, 1960, in Our Lady of Lourdes, Burgettstown, PA
Surviving Elsie are daughter Linda (Robert) Goff of Canon, Ga, Mary (Arther) Wilkins of Atlasburg, Pa Michael (Tammy) Hucik of Windber, PA, Joe Hucik from Joffre, PA and Deana Hucik from Burgettstown Pa.
9 Grand Children – Robbie (Donna) Goff from Canon, GA, Anthony (Andrea) Goff of Royston, GA, Caitlin Hucik of Rockville, MD, Laura (Devin) Blough of Hopewell, PA, Billy (Bridgette) Hucik, Brandon (Ashleigh) Hucik, Bradley (Kelsey) Hucik all from Burgettstown, PA, Natalie Wilkins (Steve) of Slovan, PA and Arther Wilkins III from Altasburg, PA.
6 Great Grand Children – Elizabeth, Rebecca, and RJ Goff of Canon, GA, Avery and Ariana Goff of Royston, GA, Emma Hucik of Slovan, PA and a baby girl due
Preceding Elsie in death in addition to her parents is husband Michael, sisters Betty Martin and Charlotte Boni.
Surviving is one sister Rita Moore of Joffre, PA, and special friend Gene Taucher of Burgettstown, PA
Friends and Family will be received on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 1 pm to 7 pm time of service at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 23 Erie Mine Road Burgettstown, PA. 15021. (724) 947-2049 www.youngfhinc.com. Burial will be on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 11 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
