George William Miller

George William Miller, 82, of Claysville PA passed away on February 7, 2022, with his family by his side. He was born on March 23, 1939, in Washington PA son of the late Raymond and Eleanor Day Miller. After graduating High School George became a Tank tester at McGraw Edison/ Cooper Industries and married his love of 60 years, Ruby J. Miller.

George was a member of Windy Gap Evangelical Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, George is also preceded in death by his brother John R. Miller and his twin brother who passed away in infancy.

He is survived by his wife Ruby J. Miller (Jones), daughters Diane Painter (Clifford) and Sandy Gelety (Tim), granddaughters Caitlin Gelety (Eric Falvey), and Katrina Gelety, several nieces and nephews, and also Sydney aka Kitty Kitty.

Visitation for George will be on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 3 pm to 8 pm at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 219 Main Street Claysville, PA 15323. (724) 663-7373 www.younfhinc.com. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 11 am officiated by pastors George Crawford and Joe Rearick at the funeral home. Interment to follow at West Finley Cemetery.
