George A. Parker, 85, of Washington, Pennsylvania, formerly of Wheeling, West Virginia, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He was born on March 15, 1940, a son of the late Charles M. Parker and Veva Jeseph of West Virginia.
George was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Parker; sisters, Clara Riggle and Blanche Orum; his children’s mother, Ida R. Parker; two stepchildren, Earl Leroy Klages Jr. and Debra Scott (Klages); and a granddaughter, Brandi L. Byers.
He is survived by his two daughters, Alberta Miller (Steve) and Teresa Heyman (Doc Jones); a son, Jorge Parker; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A public celebration of George’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Polish Club in Washington, Pennsylvania.
