Harold J. Bittinger

Harold J. Bittinger (Junior) 79, of Burgettstown PA, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on March 28, 2021. Harold was born on December 4, 1941, son of the late Russell and Virgie Greene Bittinger of Erie Mine in Burgettstown PA, formerly from Lonaconing MD. Harold worked for Harry Wagner’s Garage in Burgettstown PA. He is survived by his loving wife Billie Latshaw Bittinger of Burgettstown PA, three sons Harold (Louise) Bittinger of Richmond OH, Joseph (Melinda) Bittinger of Weirton WV, Douglas (Chrissy) Bittinger of Burgettstown PA, daughter Connie (William) Tharp, sisters Violet Wilt of Somerset MD, Lilly Work of New Castle PA, Rose Virden of Burgettstown PA, Mary Gray of Weirton WV, Gardenia Wolanski of Atlasburg PA, brother William Bittinger of New Castle PA, 24 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one sister Daisy Bittinger McGriff. Visitation for Harold will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021, from 2 pm to 8 pm at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 23 Erie Mine Road Burgettown PA 15021.
