James (Jimmy) Chip, Jancart, age 51 of Cherry Valley, died Wednesday, August 10, 2022, as a result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born August 27, 1970, in Washington, PA, a son of James Tony and Eva Mae (Strimel) Jancart. Jimmy graduated from Burgettstown High School. He was employed as a truck driver for Coca-Cola for 25 years and will be remembered as a farmer who loved his animals especially his cows, and two dogs Tika and Ruby. Jimmy liked hunting, he was a member of the Cherry Valley Sportsman’s Club and the Free Masons. He enjoyed exploring while riding his motorcycle, he was an avid motorcyclist, who enjoyed riding all over the country, with his friends and his loving companion of 16 years Michele Harshbarger. He was the beloved father to his sons James Charles Jancart, Jake Anthony Jancart and stepfather to Justin Taylor Harshbarger, Trever John Harshberger, Tifani Diamond, and Raymond Rodgers, loving uncle to Lindsey Conn, Rodney Abbott, Also survived by his cousins Darlene Carson, James and Robert Goff, Keith, Eric, and George Strimel, his uncle George and aunt Marie Strimel. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother Johnny Edward Jancart and a sister Toni Renee Jancart.
Jimmy was always willing to go out of his way to help others. We are devastated by this huge loss, his laugh and smile were infectious to all, and he will be truly missed by many.
