Jami M. Chambers, 45, of West Alexander, PA, passed away on June 15, 2023, in her home unexpectedly.
She was born on August 31, 1977, to Gerald and Eileen Chambers of Plant City, FL. She was a graduate of McGuffey High School and Rochester Institute of Technology.
Surviving are her parents Gerald Chambers and Eileen (Smith) Chambers, her paternal grandmother Marylou (Verno) Chambers, all of Plant City, FL, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jason Riblet, son Cody Filson, maternal grandparents Kenneth and Susan (Korody) Smith, and paternal grandfather Kenneth Chambers.
Jami was a very kind, loving, and giving person. Always willing to help anyone in need. She enjoyed trying different foods when she traveled, reading books, and photography. She loved anything with fur, maybe that's why she loved her animals so much, she would have brought many more home if she could.
She worked at Walmart for 25 years at many different stores. The most recent being, the Walmart warehouse in Eighty Four, PA, where she was a Utility Associate. Jami was a ‘workaholic’ she loved her job and the people she worked with. She was a very dear friend to many and will be greatly missed.
At the request of the family, there will be no service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Cody’s Wheels of Hope www.cwoh.org A non-profit charity in memory of her son Cody whom she loved dearly, or a charity of your choice.
Arrangements are entrusted to Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 219 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323. (724) 663-7373 www.youngfhinc.com
