Kenneth Reed Clark, 92, formerly of Clayville, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
He was born on July 11, 1932, in West Alexander, PA, son of the late Arthur and Mary Clark.
Kenneth graduated from Claysville High School in 1950 and went on to attend college in Waynesburg, earning his associate's degree.
In 1953, Kenneth married Mary Joan Curtis in Manchester, Virginia. Together, they built a beautiful life and family in Claysville, PA.
He was a devoted member of the Claysville Methodist Church and was well known for his love of golf and playing cards. Kenneth proudly served in the National Guard and the U.S. Army for three years. He was an active member of the Claysville American Legion Post 639 and the VFW in Washington.
In addition to his wife Mary Joan, he is survived by his children Steven (Leslie) Clark, Brad (Sharyn) Clark, Michele (Jim) Phillips, and Marci (Mike Mateo) Clark, grandchildren Cole Clark, Justin Phillips, Amanda Phillips, and Jonah Mateo, and great grandchildren Annabelle Blackwood, Hunter Phillips, and Logan Phillips.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 219 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323, 724-663-7373, www.youngfhinc.com.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11 AM at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Claysville Cemetery.
