Larry was a hard worker, a jokester, and a loving and emotional soul. A friend to everyone he
met. He began working at a young age and was a “Jack of all Trades” finally hanging up his hat
to retire at the age of 77. Before retirement, he took pride in being a youth baseball coach. Larry
was a part of the Weirton Termite Baseball Association, coaching baseball from 1979 to 1991.
He coached hundreds of ballplayers making sure that each and every one of them felt like an
all-star. He was a great role model and mentor for the kids.
Larry enjoyed yearly vacations to the beach with his family.
A special thank you to Stacy and Pam from UPMC Family Hospice, who took such loving care
of “Dink” and his family.
