Larry J. Terminato,75, of Claysville, PA, passed away on July 29, 2025, after a year-long battle with cancer.
He was born on February 11, 1950, in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of the late Joseph and Doris Terminato. Larry was a proud graduate of McGuffey High School.
On June 19, 2001, he married Linda G. Terminato. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Larry was known for his hardworking nature and loving heart. He worked as a butcher at Gashel’s Meat Market until its closing and continued to work at West Point Products for many years until retirement. He also worked as a farmer on his farm. He enjoyed fishing, driving his tractor, playing cards, and attending auctions. He especially enjoyed sitting on the porch with his family and watching wildlife.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Linda G. Terminato; children, Amanda Hall (Glenn), Angela Terminato, and Kevin Channey; siblings, Ronald Terminato (Lisa), Wendy Pearson (Brent); grandchildren Samantha Palmer (Chris), Alexis Hall, and Evan Hall, and was joyfully anticipating the arrival of his first great-grandson in February 2026. Larry is also survived by several cousins and his faithful dog, Moose.
Family and friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 219 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Claysville Cemetery.
