Lorena Perry, age 88 of Claysville, PA, passed away April 1st, 2026, peacefully at home.
Lorena was born February 4, 1938, in Rush Township, PA, to the late Harold C. and Mary S. Hollenbeck. She graduated from Binghamton Central High School in 1957.
On October 26, 1957, Lorena married John L. Perry, Jr.
Lorena worked for Ball Glass, ARC, and Salvetti Eye Surgical Center. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids and attending all their activities. She was an avid sports and game show viewer. She was also a member of Claysville Methodist Church and a proud member of the Claysville American Legion.
She is survived by her son, John (Cathleen) Perry III; daughter, Deborah (Chester) Galaski; grandsons, John (Terri) Perry IV and Michael (Natalie) Perry; granddaughters, Diandria Ridgley and Adrielle (Logan) Gosson; and great-grandchildren, Jack, Abby, Nora, Savannah, Scarlett, Gwendolyn, and Markus.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John L. Perry Jr., and daughters Doris Perry and Diane Rodgers.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. time of service, at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 219 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323.
