Martha L. Rush Wilson, 97, formally from Claysville / East Finley, relocated to heaven on December 11, 2022. She had retired many years ago from K-Mart and Ramada Inn. She loved traveling and was an avid puzzle solver, (crossword, search a word, sudoku, and the challenge of putting together 1000 pieces or greater puzzles). She also loved planting and nurturing flowers.
She was born August 17, 1925, in Washington, PA, daughter of the late George H. & Edna (Montgomery) Rush of East Finley. She is also preceded in death by a sister Madge Ealy, daughter Donna “Jeanne” and her husband of 53 years Robert D. Wilson; all who have prepared her place in heaven.
She leaves behind her family whom she loved very much. A sister Marie, son Robert “Eddie” White, daughter Dale L. Rogers (Guy), four grandchildren Michael “Ross” Parker, Renee Villines, Stacy McCartney (Michael Ancona), Amanda Parker, eight great-grandchildren Chyann (Evan), Clayton, Aniya, Jammy, Robert, Reid, Emma, and Blake, four great-great-grandchildren Meyko, Rylee, Zyaire, and Jay.
Along with many Nieces and Nephews, several of who are great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Friends and family can visit her on Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 12 pm to 2 pm, time of service at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 219 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323. (724) 663-7373 www.youngfhinc.com. Interment to follow at Fairmont Cemetery in East Finley.
