Obituary
Mary A. Newland formerly of Apollo, PA and West Finely, PA passed away peacefully in her sleep at her son Melvin’s home in Bellaire, OH on July 2nd, 2022 at 94 years of age.
Mary was the daughter of Charles James Hollis and Mary Hilty.
She loved to cook, bake, garden, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mary worked at Sparky's Diner as a waitress/cook and later worked as a maid for Vince and his Family at Elm Grove Terrace which she loved.
Visitation for Mary will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 219 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323 (724) 663-7373 www.youngfhinc.com
A funeral service will be on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11 am at the funeral home.
Mary had three son's and two daughter's that passed before her William Neff (2002), Danny Neff (2004), and Rev. Halsey Neff(2001) along with her sister's Agnes Hollis, & Dorothy Hollis who also precede her in death.
She leaves behind five children and lots of grandchildren.
