Michael W. Danley passed away on December 6th, 2021 after a month-long battle with COVID pneumonia.
Mike Danley never met a stranger. Everyone he encountered in life was someone he wanted to connect with. Whether it was over his love of classic cars, selling tractors, or trips to Deep Creek Lake, Mike always was eager to engage with and make friends with everyone he met.
While he loved gardening, cheering on the Steelers, and trips to the lake, the center of Mike's life was his family. He was a devoted husband, dedicated father, and loving "Grandaddy". Mike's greatest sources of pride and joy were his family, especially his beloved grandsons and granddaughters.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Susan; his mother, Esther Danley, brother, Mark Danley (Sandra), his daughter Rebecca Spence (Daniel), his son Benjamin Danley (Allyson), his two loving grandsons, two adoring granddaughters, and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Richard Danley.
The family will hold a private ceremony in his honor. As Mike was always an animal lover, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
Arrangements are entrusted to Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 219 Main Street Claysville PA, 15323. (724) 663-7373 www.youngfhinc.com
