Michael Buchko Kostrej Jr., 76, of Washington, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
He was born on May 12, 1949, in Washington, PA, the son of the late Michael Buchko Kostrej and Ruth Ann Geiger Kostrej.
Michael was a 1967 graduate of Burgettstown High School and attended Parkway West Vo-Tech School.
On November 10, 1973, he married his true love and best friend, Nancy Ann Kleer Kostrej.
He worked as an industrial painter until his retirement.
He was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and found great joy in his faith. Michael loved hunting and spending time in the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Ann Kostrej Inhat, and his grandparents on both sides.
He is survived by his loving wife Nancy, brother John Kostrej, and sister Kathy Adams.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Grandview Cemetery in Florence, with clergy from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints officiating.
