Nancy Jane (Smith) Loughman

Nancy Jane Loughman (Smith) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

She was born on March 13, 1942, in Claysville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Harold Smith and Margaret Hutchisson.

Nancy was a 1960 graduate of Claysville High School.

Nancy was known for being independent, loving, strong-willed, gentle, and quietly humorous. She loved her family deeply and found her greatest joy in time spent with those closest to her. She lived her life with resilience and warmth and was deeply cherished by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sister, Joyce (Mike) Zajac; her daughter, Wendy Taylor (Doug); her sons, Scott (Jenny) Loughman and Cory Loughman (Vicki); her grandchildren, Logan Taylor, Nicholas Loughman, Jordan Loughman, Kaylee Longo, and Kristin Yanak; her great-grandchildren, Landon Taylor, Asher Taylor, Harper Yanak, Ellianna Longo; and many nieces and nephews.
