Olive B. Morgan

Olive B. Morgan, 81, of Claysville passed away on October 29, 2021. She was born on November 17, 1939 daughter of the late Mary Jackson Piatt.

On August 25, 1955, she married the late Thomas A. Morgan Sr. and together they resided in Claysville, they had 9 children.

Olive belonged to the Claysville Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies Auxillary for several years. She enjoyed bingo, Yahtzee, building puzzles, anything tie-dye, and her monkeys.

Olive is survived by her children, Sandra (Oliver) Sprowls, Thomas Morgan Jr., Richard Morgan (Kim Scott), and Catherine (Timothy) Sprowls, all of Claysville, 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her mother and husband, she is preceded in death by daughters Brenda, Linda, and Mary (Puney), sons Michael A. Morgan who passed away during infancy, and Randy Morgan, and 4 siblings. Olive was the last of her immediate family.

Visitation for Olive will be on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 219 Main St. Claysville Pa, 15323. (724) 663-7373 www.youngfhinc.com. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, with an interment to follow at Claysville Cemetery. After the interment, the family would like everyone to join for a luncheon at Claysville Volunteer Fire Department 154 Main St, Claysville, PA 15323.
