Phyllis R. Litman

Phyllis R. Litman, 92, of Claysville, PA passed away on September 12, 2022. 

She was born on March 21, 1930, in Wheeling, WV daughter of the late Nicholas Irwin Rodgers and Hattie Lyons Rodgers.

She was a 1948 graduate of West Liberty WV High School, she also attended West Liberty College.

On April 5, 1950, she married Frank Robert Litman, who passed away on April 15, 2018. They celebrated 68 years of marriage.

Phyllis worked as a secretary in the District Magistrates Office for 18 years. She loved living in the country, all animals especially horses and dogs, gardening, and being outdoors.

Phyllis is survived by her son Charles E. Litman, daughters Charmaine Ealy, and Barbara Guzzi, seven grandchildren Charles Ealy, Melissa Stagon, Alicia Thayer, Robert Litman, Amy Larson, Matthew Guzzi, and Laura Reis, and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter Norma J. Hedger and brother William I. Rodgers.
