Raymond Wayne Roupe, Sr.

Raymond Wayne Roupe, Sr., “Petey,” 73, of West Finley, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Wheeling Hospital with his family surrounding him.

He was born May 16, 1952, in Washington, PA, a son of the late Raymond R. Roupe, Jr. and Patty Lou Sampson Roupe. 

Raymond was a graduate of Trinity High School.

In August of 1974, he married Lynn Roupe, who survives.

Raymond served in the United States Navy and, after being honorably discharged, began his career as a brick mason. In his free time, he enjoyed cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kammie Lynn Roupe.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Roupe; his children, Christy Moore (Terry), Misty Salmons (Kevin), Lisa Cunningham (Rodney), Leanna Harenski, and Raymond W. Roupe, Jr. “Petey”; his grandchildren, Christopher “Turkey” and Timothy, “Scarecrow” Cunningham, Colten Salmons, Irelyn Salmons, Caleb Harenski, Landyn Roupe, and Luke Harenski; his siblings, Ronnie Roupe (Becky), Sherry Hatfield (Gary), Cindy Anderson (Carl), Terri McKinney, Lori McKinney (Jeff), and John Sampson; an aunt, Shirley Iams; and several nieces and nephews.
