Reese Hanshaw

Reese Hanshaw, 13, of Burgettstown, PA,  passed away tragically on June 30, 2025, in Weirton, West Virginia.

Born on August 19, 2011, in Elyria, Ohio, Reese was the beloved child of William and Nicole Hanshaw. A bright and creative spirit, Reese had just completed eighth grade and was preparing to begin ninth grade at Burgettstown Area High School.

Reese was a proud member of the Turtle Club and had a deep love for animals. A talented and imaginative soul, she enjoyed drawing, crafting, creating videos, and editing.

Reese is preceded in death by several great-grandparents, great-aunts, and uncles.

Left to cherish Reese’s memory are loving parents, William and Nicole; sister, Devin; brothers, Austin and Drake; grandparents; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold Reese in their hearts.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
