Richard G. Amos

Richard G. Amos (Gary), 67, of West Alexander, PA passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 12, 2023. He was born on December 26, 1955, in Wheeling, WV  the son of Irene K. Amos and the late Richard F. Amos.

After graduating from Mcguffey High School, Gary worked for Gast Bakery and West Point products.

Gary enjoyed playing games on his Ipad and being his mother's chauffeur.

He is survived by his mother Irene K. Amos, brothers Chuck Amos of West Alexander, and David Amos (Kim) of Valley Grove, WV, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 10 am to 1 pm time of service at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 219 Main Street Claysville, PA 15323. Interment to follow at West Alexander Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made payable to the West Alexander Fire Department or West Alexander American Legion.
