Robert Simpson Priddy, 83, of Coraopolis, PA, passed away at home on Thursday, September 28, 2023. He was born on December 10, 1939, in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late Thomas and Ethel Priddy.
Robert began his Major League Baseball Career in 1959. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Atlanta Braves, San Francisco Giants, Washington Senators, Chicago White Sox, and the California Angels. He later retired in 1972.
In retirement, he enjoyed his time golfing and coin collecting. Robert was a kind, thoughtful, and giving man who never failed to put a smile on anyone's face.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Slater, Thomas, and Billy, and a sister Shirley.
He is survived by sister Roberta, niece Robin, daughters Vera Mullins and Danelle Lateus, grandson Cody Mullins (Sally), and great-grandchildren Colt Mullins, Emily Mullins, and Castle Mullins.
Robert is interred at the Homewood Cemetery in Pittsburgh, PA.
