Robin A. Garrett

Robin A. Garrett, 58, of Claysville, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, in Washington Hospital with her loving family surrounding her. 

She was born on June 13, 1965, in Washington, PA, the daughter of the late Cecil and Sarah Ealy. 

She proudly attended Trinity High School.

On August 16, 2002, she married Richard J. Garrett, they spent 21 loving years together. 

Robin was a housekeeper for Humbert Lane Personal Care Home for several years before retiring. She was a member of the Claysville American Legion Post 639. Robin loved puzzles, drawing, watching Pittsburgh sports, and spending time with her family and two dogs Mercedes and Giz.

Robin was the “Neighborhood Mom” always caring for others before herself. Above all, she was a kind, loving, & amazing, wife, mother, sister, and nunny/granny.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a cousin Sam Keener, and a great-niece Josie Rae Davis.

She is survived by her husband Richard J. Garrett, children Tina Roupe (Jack Hughes), Scott A. Roupe, Jr., and Lisa McKenrick (Lee), siblings Cecil “Bobby” Ealy, Juanita “Punkie” Ealy (Kenneth Harris), Kenneth W. Keener, Ronald D. Keener (Sharon), and Jimmy Manning (Carol), grandchildren Serenity F. Hughes and Jack N. Hughes IV, Mya Jean Roupe, Bryen Thomas, Payton McKenrick, and Declan McKenrick, nieces and nephews Shirley Davis, Mikey Ealy, Jordan Davis, Tanner Davis, Miranda Gennings, Angie Haberthier, Klover Haberthier, Kenny “Bear” Keener, Kenny D. Keener, Ronnie Keener, Matt Keener, Sammy Keener, Casey Buchanan, Levi Garrett, Jason Dolanch, Asia Dolanch, and Hayley Dolanch, a brother-in-law Glenn “Rob” Garrett (Jess), a sister-in-law Christie Klepsic (John), cousins Don Ealy and Janice Jones, and her best friend Shirley Ankrom. 
Friends and family will be received on  Monday, February 12, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 219 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323 (724) 663-7373 www.youngfhinc.com. On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, there will be a graveside service at Fairmount Cemetery, everyone attending please meet at the funeral home at 10:30 AM.
