Ronald Lee Walter, Jr.

Ronald Lee Walter Jr., 59, of Washington, passed away on July 29, 2025, at UPMC Washington Hospital.

He was born on November 18, 1965, in Washington Hospital, the son of the late Joyce Sanders and Ronald “Sonny” Walter.

Ronald worked as a skilled mechanic for many years. He had a gift for his trade, often being able to listen to a car and immediately know what was wrong with it.

Though he never married, Ronald spent his life with his one true love, Debbie Yeager. He enjoyed building model cars, hunting, fishing, and drinking a cold beer.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his faithful companions, Kitty and Scrappy.

He is survived by his sister, Elaine McMullen of Scenery Hill, PA; brothers, Martin “Marty” Walter of Hyndman, PA, and Jason Walter of Frostburg, MD; step-sister, Shannon Horton of Altoona, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

All services will be private.
