Samuel Andrew Belcastro

Samuel Andrew Belcastro, 83, of Claysville, PA, passed away at home surrounded by his family on August 17, 2024. He was born in Washington, PA, on October 26, 1940, the son of the late Frank and Anne Belcastro.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Claysville, PA. He was in the Army National Guard from 1963 to 1969 and was honorably discharged. He later worked and retired from Washington Penn Plastic.

On October 31, 1965, Sam married Bonnie Kern in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Claysville, PA. 

In addition to his parents, Sam is preceded in death by three sisters Bernie Yanniello, Patsy Belcastro, and Rose Ann Bigler.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie, daughters Lisa Belcastro-Stasiowski (Joe) and Tracy Belcastro, grandsons Andrew Belcastro (Emily), and Preston Belcastro, granddaughter Kyleigh Mathias, three great-grandchildren Alaina, Violet, and Logan, brothers Gary Belcastro (Debbie) and Greg Belcastro (Debi) and several nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at the Claysville United Methodist Church 1279 US-40 Claysville, PA, 15323 from 4 pm to 7 pm time of service on Friday, August 23, 2024.
