Sheryl Diane Wright

Sheryl Diane Wright, 66, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, at Washington Hospital. 

She was born on July 1, 1956, in Dearborn, MI, daughter of the late Sam and Bonnie Barrick. 

On May 6, 1989, she married Ken Wright they spent 33 loving years together. When Sheryl met Ken she took on 2 teenage girls and she “rocked” it! Becoming more than just Ken’s wife, but becoming a mother to Lisa and Teresa.

Sheryl had many different occupations but her greatest passion was being a homemaker and caregiver to several family members who preceded her in death.

She was a second mom to Lisa (Gerry) Deehan and Teresa Terrian, devoted nana to Baillie, Dylan, and Carson Terrain, loving sister of David and Terry Barrick, and two stepbrothers, and a beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews

Her quirky sense of humor wasn’t always understood but her love was abundant to all.  She always took the time to lend an ear when anyone needed it. She would offer her opinion but also tried to be open to listening to what others presented. 

She enjoyed creating many different crafts and collecting her gorgeous temptation stoneware.  She loved Christmas and all the “things” that go along with it. Sheryl was the biggest cheerleader for her grandbabies as well as her love, Ken. The endless amount of time she sat in the stands never went unnoticed.  

Sheryl thrived on spending time with her grandchildren.  She was your typical nana who just loved bragging about them as well as other close family members. She was the epitome of a grandma. “We love you nana Sherry Barrick Wright”

To continue Sheryl’s legacy always stay humble, kind, and love unconditionally.
