Tamara Lynn (Wingett) Tustin

Tamara Lynn (Wingett) Tustin, 58, of Washington, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Tami was born in Washington, PA, on July 11, 1967, the daughter of Patti Patterson and James Wingett. She graduated from Trinity High School in 1985 and later attended West Liberty University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Social Work in 1989. She dedicated her career to working in the mental health field until her retirement in December 2020. Tami always took great pride in the accomplishments of her clients.

While in college, Tami met her future husband, Mark Tustin, while waitressing at Club 40. On May 29, 1993, they married and went on to spend 32 loving years together.

Tami loved listening to oldies music, taking her annual trip to Myrtle Beach with the “Vacation Gang,” and caring for her two cats, Rebel and Olive.

She was proudly named captain of the Women’s Arm Wrestling Team at West Liberty and was selected as a Third-Team All-American during her senior year.

Tami will be greatly missed by her husband, Mark; son, Nathaniel R. Tustin; her parents; her sister, Jodi Dzinglski; niece, Lauryn Dzinglski; brother Bryan Wingett and many dear friends.

Family and friends will be received from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 219 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323.
