Velma Joyce Manni

Velma Joyce Manni, 81, of Atlasburg, PA passed away surrounded by her daughters on Monday, September 19, 2022, at TownView Health and Rehabilitation Center. 

She was born on March 9, 1941, in Canonsburg, PA daughter of the late William E. Jordan and Velma P. Johnson Jordan. 

Velma was a part of the last graduating class of Midway High School.

On June 16, 1962, she married Anthony P. Manni. They spent 46 loving years together before his passing on June 19, 2008.

Velma enjoyed bingo, cards, fishing, camping, and spending time with her dog “Louie”. She also worked as a waitress for Shantee Village Restaurant in Hickory and Dennys in Robinson for several years.

She is survived by daughters Marcy Manni Meehan of McDonald, Traci Barton of Atlasburg, and Michelle Manni of Atlasburg, grandchildren Nicholas Barton (Brittany), Aleigha Barton, Blake Barton, Lucas Barton, and Logan Barton, and great-grandchildren Emma and Quintin Barton, also a family friend Debbie Batley.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 23, 2022, at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Center United Presbyterian Cemetery 50 Bowen Road, Midway, PA 15060.
