Walter Edwin Fritz

Walter E. Fritz, 86, of Claysville, PA, formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away at home on November 16, 2024, with his loving family surrounding him after battling a long-term illness.

Walter was born in Baltimore, MD, on January 26, 1938, a son of the late William and Lillian Fritz.

On November 2, 1957, Walter married Doris J. Mundroff Fritz.

Walter served in the United States Marine Corps for seven years before being honorably discharged, he later worked as a printer for Marine Casualty Insurance Company for 25 years before retiring. In his downtime, he enjoyed driving on his tractor and being on the computer. 

He was a loving husband, father, and friend who will be deeply missed by all.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers Sonny and Billy Fritz.

Surviving is his wife Doris J. Fritz, sons Gary Fritz and David (Carol) Fritz, three granddaughters Chelsea (Jay), Michaela, and Samantha, five great-grandchildren, and a sister Edna Teal.
