Yvonne DuBois of Washington Pa. passed away on July 1, 2024. Yvonne was born on July 9, 1965. She was preceded in death by her father Emile DuBois, son Rob Hopkins, brother Ron DuBois and mother-in-law Mary Jane Hopkins. 

The daughter of Rose Hall of Washington Pa.  Wife of Robert (Bob) Hopkins of Washington Pa. Sister to Emile DuBois (April), Rich DuBois, Kenny DuBois and Michelle Braddock. Daughter-in-law of John and Patty Hopkins of Washington. Sister-in-law to John (Clara) Hopkins, Mike (Lori) Hopkins, Dennis (Gloria) Hopkins and Penny (Patrick) Seaman. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Mother to her fur babies. Affectionately known as the girls Gracie and Miley.

Yvonne enjoyed road trips to Cedar Creek and other places with Rose. There were many trips over the years and so many happy memories were made. Yvonne always looked forward to attending holidays with her family at Rose’s house. Yvonne loved her mother’s cooking and Rose never disappointed.  

Yvonne loved the outdoors and had an adventurist spirit. On weekends she could be found with Bob and Rob on the bike trails. Many memories and fun times were had riding the canoe, fishing, swimming in the lake riding bikes, and visiting parks. The outdoors was where Yvonne was the most at home. No matter the weather Yvonne was always ready for a new adventure. Bob and Yvonne counted the days till June each year to travel to Florida. Stopping along the way to pitch their tent and enjoying being in the moment with one another. And of course, the girls were along as well. 

Yvonne's love for children and spending time with them was second to none. Yvonne drove school bus and loved every day that she spent with “Her Kids” Anytime you wanted to find her at a get-together find the kids you will find her and Bob. 

The world lost a beautiful, loving, giving, fun, and humble lady the day Yvonne went home to be with the Lord. We love you Yvonne and we will never forget how you made us all feel when we were in your presence. We thank you for being you!

A memorial service will be planned for a future date.
