Mary Jane (Rankin) Williams

Mary Jane Rankin Williams, 84, of Claysville, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 29, 2017,  at the the Donnell House... 

She was born on February 25, 1933, to the late Harry and Henrietta Rankin. 

On April 8, 1954, she married David L. Williams, Sr. who survives. 

Mary Jane was a very strong woman. She loved to bowl, do crossword puzzles , cook and bake. She owned and operated the Williams' Coffee Shop. 

She proudly earned her nickname, "Hurricane Jane ". 
What she loved most in her life was her family. 

Surviving are 2 daughters - Ruth Anne, of Cecil and Barbie (John) Mitchell of Claysville.
4 sons - David of Claysville, Richard (Vanessa) of Washington, Donald of Nashville, Tennessee, and Daniel (Jill), of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. 

Surviving are 16 grandchildren -Eric (Shannon), Dave (Michaela), Tyler, Austin, Camden, Shae (Richard), Breanne, Kaitlin, Dominic, Elise, Anthony, Laila(Shawn), Adam (Julie),  Nichole(Michael), Brianne(Jay), and Chris. 

Surviving are 17 great grandchildren- Coleton, Leland, Wesley, Karinne, Hailey, James, Joshua, Adam Jr., Arya, Kenzie and Evan, Gavin, Zack, Kylie, Maddy, Alasandra, and Michael. 

Deceased in addition to her parents, are a grandson, Shawn and Daughter-in-law, Beth. 

At the request of the deceased, the services will be private. 
There will be a graveside service for only immediate family with Paul Thomas officiating, on May 31 at the Claysville Cemetery..
